This animation was part of a re-branding pitch that a design team and I participated in. Young Musicians and Artists (YMA) is a week long summer camp for artistic kids. Our rebrand focused on the fearless nature of the kids that went to the camp. Our rebrand consisted of a redesigned logo, a new color palette, typography and deliverables like shirts and business cards. I felt that that YMA needed an animated logo to help communicate their new energy through the fluidity of the motion and the letter popping out of the spotlight.
